richClip() - very slow

Hi,

Am importing ole objects from xls into DOORS, using the following:

oleMethod(objOLEObject, cMethodCopy )  // Copy to clipboard 
string szCellData = stringOf(richClip) // Get contents of clipboard

The copy from the system clipboard into DOORS takes an eternity ( ca 6secs per ole ). Has anybody got any tips on how to speed this up ?

I played a little with richClip and my implementation was not slow.

Perhaps there is something else in your code that is causing a bottleneck.
